GOOD LUCK ABI

This was a design I created for a friend of mine who turned 21 and has just embarked on an amazing opportunity in her life. She started a new venture working on a cruise ship as a beauty therapist.

MEMORIAL/THANK YOU

This tree I designed for the hospital staff at Lynbank as a thank you for the care they gave to a long term patient.

40th Birthday

This artwork was designed for a clients sister and the information I was given was very well thought through.

She was married at Borthwick Castle, absolutely loves designer handbags, and shoes. Loves the jewellery by Thomas Sabo-lots of lovely charms to choose from!
She would like to move to Italy one day and loves the architecture of Barcelona and Madrid. A huge Robbie Williams and Take That fan and also takes part in the Caledonian Challenge and the Moonwalk for charities.

Valentines Gift

This was designed for a customers husband as a surprise for Valentines day.  He is a keen historian and loves anything to do with Mary Queen of Scots. Linlithgow Palace was an obvious link as her Birthplace in 1542. There are also references to the life they share together. He is a train driver hence the train tracks, and he supports Celtic.

Nursery milestone tree

I painted this onto a wall in baby twin girls nursery, i used watercolour to keep the look very soft and I built up the layers to create texture and shading. You can't really see the pink blossoms as they are very small but they are very delicate and just give a touch of colour-so sweet!
A little 'milestone tree' to mark special events and memorable days for special twin baby girls.

Angel

This design was taken from a photograph of a glass angel belonging to this lady.  She wanted me to make the theme 'angels' but also to include the 'tree'. Favourite songs 'Blue Velvet' and 'When We Wish Upon A Star' are featured as are her close family members, friends and her families two dogs.

They travelled the world throughout the years and lived in Egypt, hence the pyramids and she is also a keen patchwork sewer so I decided to make a fabric feature of the pyramids.

I love the elegance of this drawing and hope to use this theme again.

Gift for mother and daughter in Turkey

I was commissioned this one for a mother and her 5 year old daughter. The strongest influence for this design is the 'fatima hand'. It appeared a lot in the information given to me about their life and Sinem loves the philosophy of the fatima hand. This was an obvious choice for me to work with. I also changed the tree format to a more delicate design to include more decorative artwork within the hand.

Sinem is a ballet dancer and loves Turkish rock star Teoman.

Duru loves Dora the Explorer-I also included 'boots' hanging from a branch. She has a beautiful dog called Bonnie and a cat called Bianca. And a huge love of chocolate ice cream!!!

I received an email to let me know that this is now her favourite 'Fatima hand'!! How exciting.
